How to use Extract pages

What it does

Saves only the pages you choose from a PDF as a new PDF. You can gather them into one file, or save each page separately.

Step by step

  1. Drop a PDF onto the screen, or click to choose one.
  2. Under “Pages”, tap the pages to extract, or write them in the “Pages” field, like “1-3, 5”. At first no page is chosen.
  3. Under “Options”, pick “One file” or “Each page” in “Save as”. It starts on “One file”.
  4. Click “Extract pages”.
  5. With “One file”, click “Save”. With “Each page”, save the files one by one or click “Save all”. The file name is “name-extracted.pdf”, or “name-page-3.pdf” when each page is separate.

Frequently asked questions

Can I take out only the pages I need from a PDF?
Yes. Choose the pages you need and click “Extract pages”. A new PDF is made with only those pages.
Can I save the extracted pages separately?
Yes. Pick “Each page” in “Save as” and each page becomes its own PDF. Use “Save all” to save them at once.
Does it change my original PDF?
No. The extracted PDF is made as a new file, and the original stays as it is.
